Terms of Service
Last updated: 29 June 2026
This is a working draft prepared for review. It is not yet final and should be confirmed by Second Team (and legal counsel) before launch.
These Terms govern your use of Nucleus, operated by Second Team ("Second Team", "we", "us"). By using Nucleus you agree to these Terms. Please read them — we have kept them plain.
The service
Nucleus lets you build one source of business context and connect your AI tools to read it. During the pilot, Nucleus is provided free of charge. There is no card and no commitment.
Eligibility and your account
Nucleus is for business use by people aged 18 or older. You sign in with a one-time link sent to your email; keep access to that inbox secure, as anyone with it can access your account.
You are responsible for the activity under your account and for the accuracy of the information you provide.
Your content
You keep ownership of the website content, documents, and information you put into Nucleus ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and use Your Content solely to provide and improve the service for you — including passing it to the AI tools you connect when they request it.
You confirm you have the right to provide Your Content and that doing so does not break the law or anyone else’s rights.
Acceptable use
Don’t use Nucleus to break the law, infringe others’ rights, upload malware, attempt to access other companies’ data, probe or disrupt the service, or reverse-engineer it except where the law allows. We may suspend accounts that put the service or other users at risk.
AI output
AI tools can be wrong or incomplete, even with good context. Nucleus helps your tools give better-grounded answers, but it does not guarantee accuracy and does not provide legal, financial, or other professional advice. Review AI output before relying on it.
Pilot terms and feedback
The pilot is free and may change. We may add, modify, or discontinue features, and we may introduce paid plans after the pilot — if we do, we will tell pilot users first and give time to decide. Nothing switches from free to paid without your agreement.
If you send us feedback or suggestions, you allow us to use them to improve Nucleus without obligation to you.
Our intellectual property
Nucleus, including its software, design, and content we create, belongs to Second Team and its licensors. These Terms don’t give you any rights to our brand or software beyond using the service as intended.
Disclaimers
Nucleus is provided "as is" and "as available", especially during the pilot. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Second Team will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of Nucleus. Because the pilot is provided free of charge, our total liability for any claim is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. [TO CONFIRM: liability cap and carve-outs with counsel.]
Termination
You can stop using Nucleus and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you break these Terms or to protect the service. You keep control of your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [TO CONFIRM: governing-law jurisdiction], and any disputes will be handled in the courts of that place, unless your local law gives you other rights that cannot be waived.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as Nucleus evolves. If a change is material, we will let pilot users know before it takes effect. The date at the top shows when they were last updated.
